ACDs
ACD stands for Automatic Call Distribution. It is a process in which incoming calls are distributed to agents logged into the queue automatically by the system without manual intervention. In general, Call Queues are associated with a specific department or a set of agents who are responsible for a particular job. For examples, most companies have call queues such as Sales, Support, and Product etc. Each of these queues have multiple agents logged in. All the calls coming to the queue are distributed among the agents depending on who is available to take the call. If all the agents are busy, the caller is kept on hold till one of the agents becomes available.
ACDs are very important for any business as it improves the professional image and streamline the businesses process and improving the customer satisfaction.
ACD queues are available in the Gold and Platinum editions only. ACDs can be added to Bronze and Silver plans by paying an additional fee. Please check the plan details for more information.
