CRM By Phone

Over the last few years, small and medium businesses have increasingly embraced customer relationship management systems (CRM) provided as a service. The low start-up costs and relative ease of systems like salesforce.com, have made them popular choices for maintaining customer contacts, tracking leads and marketing campaigns, and analyzing customer information, whether you are a sole entrepreneur, or a 600-employee company.

Here at 800PBX we have released an innovative tool which fuses the power of the phone with the strategic importance of the CRM system. We are very excited about the capabilities of our new voice-enabled interactive system. It enables you, the business owner, to access data stored in your company’s CRM through your phone; it also allows your employees to receive voicemails, which will be transcribed into text and sent to them directly, keeping them in close contact with your customers. And the next time a customer calls your customer support or sales group, the 800PBX application can automatically pop up the customer information, giving your sales and support staff immediate access to customer history.

All this is done through the highly-evolved voice-enabled capabilities of our system. Whether you are a subscriber to the developer edition or the enterprise edition of salesforce.com (or anything in between), you can now automate the customer-facing activities in your business, directly from your phone. We are proud of being able to offer this incredible tool. And guess what? You don’t even need a subscription to a data plan on your cell phone! Talk about recession-busting technology!

800PBX at the Plug and Play Expo on May 7, 2009

Monday, May 25th, 2009

On Thursday May 7, we joined 39 other emerging companies in showcasing our technology at the Plug and Play Expo in Sunnyvale, CA. The Plug and Play Expo is a premier startup company event highlighting best of breed new mobile, internet and cleantech companies.

Only 40 companies were selected among over 200 applicants for this event. The screening process was based on which companies will have the biggest impact on people’s lives in 2009 and beyond. We felt very proud that 800PBX had been selected, and were really excited to be part of the list of 40 hot startups.

800PBX Plug and Play Expo

We had the opportunity to pitch our company, exhibit our technology, and answer questions in front of a panel of business investors and venture capitalists. We received some excellent feedback, made great contacts, and came away with a list of ideas for future development. All in all, the Plug and Play Expo was a great event which helped re-energize our batteries.
