Auto Attendant
Modern telephony virtual-pbx features such as auto attendant (AA) automatically allows the callers to reach the user’s extension directly without the intervention of any receptionist.
800PBX provides auto attendant free of cost in all available plans. Make sure you upload your welcome greeting as it will be first played when the callers reach your number. A good practice is to state clearly the various available extensions such as operator, sales, support, billing, dial by name, conference, location, working hours, fax etc. This allows the callers to reach the intended department directly without first reaching the receptionist (operator).
With 800PBX’s online panel, you can even choose business-hours and non-business-hours greetings.
