Operator extension

operatorext.PNG

You can direct your callers to your operator extension if they remain idle without responding to the auto attendant.
The auto attendant will play the welcome greeting twice to prompt the user before forwarding the call to the operator extension. Simply select the extension where all the calls need to be transferred from the drop-down options.

Selecting none will hangup the call if the user fails to respond to the auto attendant.

Please note that this extension cannot be deleted directly from extensions menu as it is designated as operator extension.

800PBX recommends “0″ as operator extension.
