Voicemail

With 800PBX, all incoming calls are appropriately transferred. However in cases where you are not reachable, callers can leave a voicemail.

You can configure a custom greeting for your voicemail by dialing your toll-free number and then *(star) followed by your extension number. Custom greeting can be used to notify your availability this week or your vacation plans and when you expect to return the calls. Alternate medium of communicating with you can also be stated. Callers hear your custom greeting when they reach your voicemail.

Messages left are immediately notified to your email or sent to your mobile phone through SMS.

Voicemails can be checked

- Via 800PBX panel
Select extensions from panel options and click on ‘view’ to listen to the voice messages.

- Via Phone
You can also retrieve your messages over the phone. Call your toll-free number and dial ‘*’ + extension number. Enter the password for the desired extension number. Once the password is validated, you will be able to listen to your voicemails. Password is same as what was chosen while creating the extension.

- Via Email
You can also get your voicemails delivered to your email inbox as an attachment.
