    800 PBX includes a free toll-free number and a local number with all plans.

    Generic toll-free numbers (800/877/866/888) are free for a limited time. However, please note that the true 800 numbers (starting with 800) are subjected to availability in the industry.

    There is a one time charge of $30 to order a vanity number (eg: 1-800-MY-BUSINESS) or to port your existing number.

    Each employee or department can be assigned an extension. A voicemail box is automatically created for each extension.

    Extension specific combination of rules such as announcement (voice on demand), follow me, call hunt, verify, queue and redirect can be assigned online.

    For eg: you can easily assign an extension which informs “Please wait while I transfer your call to John Smith.”, tries all the contact numbers of John Smith based on day and time and if unreachable, redirects to a different extension or to John Smith’s voicemail.

    With voicemail-email notification, you can forward all your voicemails as attachment and store them in your mail box.

    Allow your callers to reach an extension just by dialing the first or last name of the employee.

    This feature may not be available in future as 800 PBX is now speech driven and the caller can just reach an extension by saying the name of the person.

    With 800PBX account, callers can be transferred to any desired telephone numbers (mobile, land line, fax) within the continental United States, Canada and land line phones in few select countries.

    The incoming calls are forwarded to the designated list of numbers sequentially, until the call is acknowledged. The subsequent numbers will not be called unless the first person is busy answering other calls or if he is not willing to answer the calls.

    With call hunt feature, the incoming call is forwarded to all the designated recipients simultaneously.

    This feature is useful if you have more than one agent at same level to answer the calls.
