Remembering extension numbers may be a tough job for your customers. Unfortunately, in today’s Hosted PBX systems, the caller is required to enter the appropriate extension number to get connected. This inconvenience may result in frustration to the customer and may result in lost revenue.
With 800PBX speech enabled IVR, the user can simply say the name of the employee he wishes to reach eliminating the need of any manual entry. Our system then tries to match the user’s input to the available extensions list and routes the call appropriately. If there are multiple selections, the system provides all matching inputs and confirms the extension number the caller is trying to reach. This feature will add tremendous convenience for the user.
